PhD Eng. Marek Walacik is an active certified property valuer and a scientific and didactic worker of the Faculty of Surveying and Spatial Development of the UWM.

He is a graduate of the field of Spatial Development, specialty: Real Estate Management and Consultancy (engineering studies and MSc studies) at the UWM in Olsztyn. In 2012 he was granted a degree of a doctor of technical studies – his doctoral dissertation was entitled „Opracowanie zasad ustalania wysokości słusznego odszkodowania za nieruchomości przejęte na cele publiczne” [Development of principles of establishing a suitable damage for real estate taken over for public purposes]. He is also a graduate of the Warsaw University and a student of Oxford Brookes University.

He has the following entitlements and certificates:

• entitlements regarding real estate estimation (entitlements no. 5049) issued by the Minister of Infrastructure  
• real estate trade intermediary licence (licence no. 11203) issued by the Minister of Infrastructure 
• property manager’s licence (licence no. 18356) issued by the Minister of Infrastructure
• certificate (no. 234/2011) of completed course and passed exam regarding „Price estimation for the purposes of securing bank receivables” issued by the Polish Federation of Associations of Certified Property Valuers and the Association of Polish Banks

PhD Eng. Marek Walecik is also a member of numerous organisations and associations, inter alia the following:
